Russian architect Sergei Tchoban arrived in Germany in the early nineties “with a suitcase full of drawings”. In the meantime, his buildings have added a new dimension to the architecture of his chosen home, Berlin, as well as to his native city, St. Petersburg, and other German and Russian metropolises: the E-Plus headquarters in Düsseldorf and the conversion of the Kunst- und Handwerkerhof in Berlin are his work, as is the Federation Tower in Moscow, which is currently the tallest building in Europe.
